Recruiting Methods

Most of our recruiting activity is centred within York Region and our Toronto area office. We attract candidates from surrounding areas such as Rexdale, Woodbridge, Concord, Richmond Hill, Markham, Scarborough, North York and Willowdale.

Initial Interview

Each candidate is required to attend our office for a personal interview, which investigates:

• education levels
• employment history and experience
• skills and abilities
• attitudes and work habits
• references

Our experienced interviewers use this time to identify strengths and weaknesses, general and specific attitudes regarding employment environments, ability to take direction, ability to work without supervision, punctuality, attendance and interpersonal abilities.

Selection Process

To ensure that the candidates presented or employees selected match our client's needs, we thoroughly question our clients to determine:

• mandatory skills and optional or "asset" skills
• attitudes required
• education required
• job duties and responsibilities
• job location and hours
• client policies
• safety regulations
• special needs (those may include special language abilities, wheelchair accessibility, special training, i.e.. WHMIS training, specialized computer software training, etc., or special licenses and/or certificates such as Fork-lift license or specialized degrees, etc.)

Once we have a thorough understanding of our clients' needs, our selection process is two-fold:

• search to identify all candidates currently on file. Our files currently contain approximately 150 active and available candidates for EACH type of skill grouping in Junior, Intermediate and Senior capacities
• personal evaluation of each of the searched candidates to determine the best combination of all requirements of the position
